Step 1:
Start by choosing one of the most basic borders on the template
(ex: squares or rectangles) Lay the template onto a piece of
colored cardstock. Trace the entire border onto cardstock |
Step 2: Cut
out the pieces you have just traced onto cardstock. Keep all these
pieces in a separate pile. |
Step 4:
Trace and cut out the pieces from the second border. Keep all
these pieces in a separate pile. |
Step 5: Lay
first border you have traced onto your base piece of cardstock.
Apply
adhesive in each of the areas in this border.
Now place the
pieces from the first border back into the template, using it

 Step 6:
Place the second border on the template over the border you just put
together on your base piece of cardstock.
Now...Repeat Step 5
with the second border
as a
guide.

Dry
Embossing Borders
Step 1:
Choose a border and place the template onto a solid surface. Then
place piece of cardstock over template, good side down.
Step 2:
Rub on
the cardstock, over the border with your stylus to get an impression of
the border.
DO NOT MOVE PAPER!
Step
3:
Trace the border, following the impressions from step 2.
Step 4: You
may repeat steps 1-3 with another border inside of first border.
Ex: Creating a border with a circle within a square.
